ABOUT DOM BLAKE
Dom has an international production background. His passion for creative story telling resonates through everything he produces.
Dom's lifelong career in the arts started from humble beginnings in a small country town Australia. Starting at 15 years old juggling school & working as unit-assistant and sound on feature films.
As a multi instrumentalist and working as a Set Builder and Stage Mechanist Dom preforming on the local Sydney pub scene and toured the Australian underground dance-music venues and festivals with his bands where he would earn his stripes in understanding Sound production and live Music.

Venturing into electronic news gathering TV crews as sound recordist Dom learnt valuable skills in professional audio and professional camera operation.
​
His skills and know-how led him to an extensive career in sound and staging at the Sydney Opera House where he served in multiple roles from staging and sound with Opera Australia, Bell Shakespeare and props-guy for the Australian Ballet working in Audio recording and engineering the touring productions and performances along with photography and filming performances in Sydney's theatre venues.

Proving himself to be a creative all-rounder. Dom's career flourished when poached by the Sydney Conservatory of Music to be a Film and Music Producer where he would produce over 40 full length concert movies and travel internationally producing music tour documentaries showcasing talents through his extensive camera operation, sound production and post production skills.
Whilst living and working in New York, San Fransisco, Boulder, Frankfurt, Stuttgart, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Suzhou, London, Sheffield, Jakarta, and Manado.
Dom sharpened his production skills as an international stringer for ABC and SBS and documentary producer for Sydney University's Conservatorium of Music.

With this passion for life and international success drew him to settle in Byron Bay in a purpose built factory of Audio and Visual commercial production-house where he has been producing media content for multi-national companies as a Photographer, Camera operator, videographer, sound recording and post production.
